The Quran memorization, revision, and especially the Ijazah linked to the Prophet (PBUH) are an amanah in front of Allah. Therefore, if the student needs a strong revision, he/she should first take at least one semester in our One-on-One Quran Memorization course in order to revise the Quran or at least 20 chapters with the teacher.

We have many teachers who know the different Qira’at Alhamdulillah, but we focus on the Hafs as it covers 96 % of the Islamic nation.

Those Ijazah applicants who still need to improve their tajweed are advised to attend a 6-month training period under the Ijazah program. If their tajweed level is less than intermediate, they are advised to join the Tajweed Intensive program or one of the GQMC courses according to the evaluation and recommendation of the head of the department.

Can I receive the Ijazah upon the memorization of some juz and not the entire Qur’an?

This is not possible. Please note that the Ijazah has 2 meanings in our time:

a)      A certificate of memorization (from the University) for the 30 chapters of Al-Quran.

b)      The sanad from the teacher that links to the Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) which is given only for those who complete the recitation from memory (with a high level of Tajweed) of the 30 chapters of Al-Quran and not less than that because it is an Amanah in front of Allah.
